Neil Boynton and Emma Rose have worked together since 2004. He trained as a composer, she as an artist. They are currently making a new video about landscape and identity based on imagery from the Northern Alps. Rose is Professor of Contemporary Art and Boynton Senior Lecturer at the Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts, Lancaster University.
Their first collaborative work skyWriting was shown at the transmediale.05 in Berlin. rush (2006) has been exhibited in solo shows in Zagreb (Croatia) and in group shows in Turlock (USA) and London (UK). In 2006 they worked with the poet Ruth Fainlight to make threshold, which was screened at the 12th International Media Art Biennale WRO 07, Wroclaw, Poland.
